Top of the world.

Perhaps the title above sounds a little bit exaggerating.

However, when you look down from the summit of a mountain(or just a hill),
you'll get what I'm trying to say.

Nicely edited by Your Majesty Ray.

Many said that Tabur Hill is a dangerous place for hiking especially for beginners.

People are not encouraged to climb there.
Even if you insist, you're actually required to report to the police.

Although we were a little worried about it, we did not hold back.
Instead, we gave it all out and decided to take up the challenge.

We did not make any report. Plus, none of us got adequate rest the night before we went there.

Thank God for blessing this group of daring kids.

It was a great experience to most of us who were amateur hikers.
What fascinated us was the nature in the jungle as well as the breathtaking view which brought our mind to the stress-free state.

Here are some beautiful pictures snapped by Evie.
They are beautiful because of the love in them. Yep.

20th April 2013

Group 11 was at approximately 330m(Googled lol) above the ground! We rock! ;)

I don't think we could conquer Tabur Hill successfully without a good leader.
And this time...

Our leader was Raymond The Boss! Spot his confident face?
With his guidance, we climbed up and down with minimal injuries.

He really did an awesome job, no doubt about that.

"That rock is slippery! Try to slide down a bit."
Woah, I was not bad too. Haha! To be frank, I was quite steady eh. My heart did not experience any tachycardia or palpitation even when I was on the edge of rock. :P

Sorry that sometimes I was a bit slow. That was not because of me being afraid, but I was thinking and choosing my way. Ahaha. Paiseh la.

Throughout the trip, I saw how we helped one another physically and mentally.

This was the hardest part to me. With only a rope to reach down.
Perhaps it was because we used the wrong way.

The guys from Group 11 are all very caring and protective. Not forgetting the sweet girls too. We've made it to the top hand in hand.

I am really grateful to have them. :)

Look at their brotherhood!

I was so glad to see this scene(in fact there were more, only this moment was captured).
Despite some conflicts weeks ago, eventually they still stay close together. I prefer my juniors(my kids) to be more cheerful. :)

Check this out! Haw my gawd! That's our little Minyien!

Nah, you thought she was weak? Don't judge people by their size!

Her determination would always surprise you. Like how she wowed us on that day.
The station in this photo was the most challenging one for her(most of us too) I supposed?

She took quite a while to overcome her psychological barrier but in the end she made it!
You don't know how cold her hands were at that time!

Nevertheless, she's a tough girl indeed. Her ability is out of your expectation. ;)

Dreams are sky-high. But as long as you keep your commitment towards them,
you can bring yourself closer and eventually reach them.

Other than the achievement, one more thing that had made my day was the love among us.

"Be careful, people!"
"Are you okay? Do you need any help?"
"Give me your hand."
"Trust me."
"You can do it!"

My lips were pulled into a U-curve when I heard all of these. :)

The care and concern were so genuine.

I really love seeing people offer and receive help. I love it to be a two-way stuff.
You can barely feel it nowadays because the cruel reality is consuming our sincere heart and nature.

How did I feel when I was standing on top of the world? Hmm...
I could feel that every single cell in my body was doing star jumps. Hahaha!

I'm serious! Every part of my body was awake! It was so exciting!

Goodness I'm starting to fall in love with adventurous stuffs. I'm sorry papa mama. Lol.

I requested a snapshot from Evie. (thick-skinned)

I believe that things that bring you satisfaction actually make you grow and give you a more meaningful life.
There's a Chinese saying goes, "青春不可留白" which means leave no regrets in youth.

Sometimes, there's no need to be too obedient. Because, you gotta live your life to the fullest as you can.

Till then. :)
