I was over the moon not because that I won a medal actually, okay partly due to that but what made me smile so brightly was that I completed the 5km long run without any rest! Haha I never experienced such a perseverance of mine! That's the spirit, man!
Most of the time I ran with the Tro11ers, whom I'd stick to for the rest of my medical school years.
They are the ones who will fight with me till the end, also not forgetting the FIS-ians.
I remember seeing a phrase saying that, "There are different people who walk with you through certain points of your life, but no one will finish the journey with you. You have to complete it on your own." I couldn't agree more.
It's like when you're running, you can't follow others' paces forever. When the time has come, you need to let go and return to your own pace. But deep in our hearts, we cheer for each other. :)
No matter how fast or slow we run, we will eventually meet at the finish line.
| Ah Sou and I got a medal for ourselves! Ah I must mention how I like her telling me her feelings which I think she seldom tells people. Quite a number of times already. ;) |
| The muddle-headed me was asking back the girl: "What? Are you sure? I got a medal?" |
I've never got any medal in sport events.
Have I regretted? Yeah, kind of. My dad has always been teasing me not inheriting his gene in sports. I don't feel good hearing that.
Thus, I sent my parents these photos through Whatsapp last night. I wanna let him know that his daughter also can do sports, just like him. Just that she's not trained since young.
Oh, and thanks to Tro11ers esp my butt for making me pick up running(in fact it's just jogging lols). You lighted up my passion for sports. Comrades. :)
By the way, I might be really joining badminton this time. If they want me. Haha. *shrugged*
