Many people hate growing up.
Well to me, it is fascinating despite the cold world outside.
Perhaps it is because I have been pretty independent since young?
People, unlike me, only start to leave home around this age.
Therefore they need to make adaptations for the changes.
I am already used to it.
I might be born with the surviving skills as well.
Lately, I found that I am really growing up.
I have some changes in my thoughts and perspectives. I start to keep track with news and politics. I try to appreciate things that I used to hate back then.
Besides, many things are done by myself, not only literally.
And I would need to tell no one regarding my whereabouts and doings, not even my parents who are so unworried until I don't feel their concern(I know they still love me though).
However, I am fortunate enough to have these people around me, be it mentally or physically.
There is quite a number of them who are always caring and thoughtful, who never leave me alone when I am down, who sayang me till my other babes jealous...
Love can be in many forms.
It can be transferred from one to another via different ways, different relationships.
One of the most important relationships in life is friendship other than kinship.
How could there be someone to clear up the bed for you when you accidentally fall asleep?
How could there be someone who help you cover your cold body with blanket in the middle of the night?
Only your papa mama would do that for you?
Nah. My roommate does that to me too. It sounds dayumm gay but I always feel so loved when I wake up and begin to recall how I went to bed. (okay don't tease me after you read this, gayyy)
How would you come across someone's mind?
How would you be able to affect someone's mood and feelings?
I agree that only those who care about you, who trust you can be hurt by you.
But in the end they will choose to let go their pride because you are way more important than that. #justsomerandomthoughts
Needless to say, I own many beautiful friendships and I'm thankful for that.
Most of them are the source of my motivations, power and courage.
They are shaping me into a better person and bringing my life alive.
